That’s awesome. I was planning on picking up the game too
Yeah! I would not have expected Alpha Flight content.
Also was the explanation of her head-dress ever mentioned in the comics? As that’s a cool idea there is Canadian soil in it
I'm pretty sure it wasn't - otherwise she'd never have collapsed in #12 (or did she think of that later?). But it is a cool idea.
Reminds me a little of Dracula, though.
There's also this Easter Egg at some point

That was really hard to see, even when I knew to look for it! Well spotted, that man1
Didn't we see something similar in one of the Deadpool movies? (I think I'm thinking about the ad on the cab.)
Yep Deadpool 2 had it as a travel ad
The werewolf-like 'they bite you you become them' is new to the game (AFAIK; it wasn't in the classic comics), but that all makes sense to me.
It's been brought into comics, I believe.
Or at least that's what I took away from World War Wendigo.
I'm not too surprised by that.
I don't remember World War Wendigo at all, not even whether or not I even read it.

… but I think I did.
The Wendigo virus first appeared in King-Size Hulk #1 and then there was a mini world war wendigo story with a horde taking over Vegas. Hulk even temporally became a Wendigo himselfThe virus aspect continued in a Spider-Woman book a few years back as well. I think most writers just go with one Wendigo at a time now
