ALPHA FLIGHT IS RESURRECTED, LONG LIVE ALPHA FLIGHT!
I read the Venom, Iron Fist, (even Ant-Man), and USAgent stories in Choosing Sides, and with the exception of Ant-Man, I liked what I read. They are interesting and provide solid introductions to their upcoming titles. Howard the Duck does not interest me, so I didn't read that one or the soap opera tie-in. Wish it were a dollar.
USAgent seems easily provoked, but Stark seems willing to provoke him. One of my pet peeves is that Tony seems to be involved in everything under the sun except bringing in Nitro (a real villain). I can see if Cap has an aversion to getting himself blown to smithereens (but the hero I think he is wouldn't be overly concerned about that), but Iron Man should have contingencies to offset Nitro's power. If these two weren't so preoccupied with beating the crap out of each other. But I digress...
Kara's dad has a few reasons to head north, even though the Purple Man is not one of my favorite badguys. Makes sense, USAgent looks like he's in for a rough time, but he seems determined.
Very good start.
Tony's beaten Nitro silly before, witha less-advanced version of his armor. If he put the effort into finding Nitro, it'd be over quickly.
"You cannot win, mailman Mike. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."
Mayhaps because of the god awful name? Who can take I guy who calls himself "Purple Man" seriously even if he can control minds?Originally Posted by Garry/Al-Fan

He actually seemed a bit pinker to me in this issue then purple. Thank god he's not the Pink Man!

Putting 2 and 2 together equals...
Just read in Comics International that the team comprises of people who 'didn't take sides' in the Civil War. Spider Person who didn't take sides = Arana. Damn!!
She took sides just as much as Julia Carpenter did. They both started up on side for registration, and Julia changed her mind, as it looks like Arana is doingOriginally Posted by Banshee

I read it that Julia had always intended to be a double agent, a 'Scarlet Pimpernal' if you like, and had always been anti-treaty. That's jsut how it came across to me.
Please, please, let it be Julia.
Julia= USAgent conflict.
Julia= Possible shroud cameos.
Julia=Plot of her daughter and post Civil War trauma(Scott Laing was great with Cassie).
Julia=Older, wiser and cool powers.
The Spider-Person looks older then Arana and her hair is much longer. Hopefully this points to Julia.
Hey Ben, any word on when new info will be available on this book? I know Oeming said he was still doing research and there will probably be a 6th member added. Did they let you when we'd hear more details?
Thanks!
i was wondering the same thing. haven't heard anything in a feww weeks. new art? launch month?
I think some new art or news would be good, to keep the idea of Omega fresh in peoples minds.

Driftwood: Well, I got about a foot and a half. Now, it says, uh, "The party of the second part shall be known in this contract as the party of the second part."
Fiorello: Well, I don't know about that...
Driftwood: Now what's the matter?
Fiorello: I no like-a the second party, either.
Driftwood: Well, you should've come to the first party. We didn't get home 'til around four in the morning... I was blind for three days!
