A few smaller local cons this month have generated some pretty decent results: https://philsafpage.wordpress.com/2015/09/

Unbelievable! Very nice especially that Shaman piece. Could you give us some background on these?

Essentially I've decided each week that a new issue of Captain marvel or deadpool isn't out (im currently subscribed to those series) I'll spend my weekly comic allowance on an old issue of either alpha flight or deadpool and an old issue of a different series each week that I've never read before

I really wish there was a way to go into a poster store, show them a comic panel, and get them to blow it up into a poster

    Cheers all!

The pieces all came from London Super Comic Con which is probably the biggest mainstream con over here, held last weekend.
The first three pieces were sketches from the show, the last two were full commissions pre-ordered.

Details of the individual artists are on each post, but for reference (l-r):
    Guillermo Mogorron (X-Treme X-Men, X-Termination)
Clay Mann (X-Men Legacy, Age of X)
    David Messina (Ultimate Comics Wolverine)
    Christian Ward (upcoming Ultimates)
Mahmud Asrar (All New X-Men, Uncanny X-Men)

Thanks, I'm planning on buying up hopefully as many back issues of vol 1 as I can. My local comic store has a lot of them, but ones I know they don't have that im eager to find are

    issue 5: Because PUCK!
Issue 12: best ending in alpha flight history
Issue 17: I find this concept really interesting as about half of the book is lifted directly artwork and all from a previous issue of xmen, and it adds a new layer of depth and commentary to it,
    Issues 31, 32, 33, 34, 35
Issue 43. Because of the kick ass cover art
issue 60: finish the story from my already purchased issue 59
    issues 75 and 77
    Issues 93,94,95
    issue 100
    Issue 105
    issue 106:
    issue 130

To be honest, the one I sent Yankee was my extra I bought to open and read. I still have one sealed.

And to be honest, I'm never the kind of guy who would buy something and never use it. Probably why i don't work in a museum lol
