    Awesome! Congratulations, Phil.
    (Also, is it Simone or Simon?)

    Those are sweet! Can you take a better image/scan of the Namor/Marrina piece? How much did that go for?

    It's hit and miss; some years I come away with nothing.
    The Davis/Farmer page was a pure fluke and coincidence, as it was the only one from that issue in his stack.
    The internet and Twitter specifically is a great help;I saw that McGuinness was coming so contacted his agent with regards to the sketch cover to make sure I got on his list. I hadn't planned on purchasing any art as well but I browsed his portfolios as I waited and had to have the page.

    Definitely Simone. He's Italian, I believe.

    I'll be back home tomorrow so will try to sort one at the weekend.
    It was priced at $200 but it was part of a miscellaneous stack that Mark had been carrying round for 5 years and was desperate to get rid of so I got it for $115.

    The only Alpha minimate I don't have is a Wolverine.

    I have that one too! It's part of a thing called 'The X-Men Portfolio'; four pictures that size.

    That's cool!
    ... but you'll never find a Wolverine. Just too obscure a character.

    It took me a while, but I just suddenly remembered the Dilbert / Dogbert 'Thor, Dog of Thunder' storyline (inasmuch as Dilbert has storylines).

    Between Big Hero 6 and the Inhumans there are some pretty decent throwbacks that Marvel could use later-on.
    I'd like to see AF meet Guardians in the near future; that'd be good for the team.

    A few new sketches up on my site from yesterday:

    Mike Perkins & Gabriel Hernández Walta were both at the con so I managed to get pretty much the whole of Marjorie Liu's Astonishing X-Men run signed!
    I also managed to get a stunning sketch from each of them;

    What do you do with your signed issues? I mean do you keep them in a bag/board or do you placed them in a hard plastic sleeve for display?
