    Morningstar: The Northern Light

    Real name: Trevor Jones
Identity: Known to the Canadian government
Legal status: Citizen of Canada with no criminal record
Place of birth: Yellowknife, NWT, Canada.
    Marital status: Single
    Known relatives: Nathaniel Jones/Thunder (deceased)

    Height: 6’3â€
    Weight: 265 lbs.
    Eyes: Green
Hair: No body hair. Blonde paste on eye-brows.
**Note**: The Morningstar synthoid looks almost physically identical to the Thunder synthoid, save for eye colour.

Strength Level: The Morningstar synthoid can lift/press about 10 tons under normal circumstances. When amplified by solar energy however, he has demostrated feats of strength that place him in the Class 100 category, ie. can lift/press 100+ tons.

    Known Powers
The Morningstar synthoid is remarkably durable and resilient to damage; such that small calibre bullets bounce off of him virtually unnoticed, and even 7.62 mm rounds only cause welts and bruising. He can withstand temperature extremes ranging from 150 degrees F to -30 degrees F with little to no discomfort, levels of radiation en pare with those released by a modern nuclear missle at ground zero, and is immune to all known terrestial poisons, toxins and diseases. Beyond these attributes, Morningstar can also channel stored solar energy to amplified his recuperative abilities expontentially, and with enough solar energy at his disposal can heal all but the most serious of injuries in seconds.

Morningstar's eyes are capable of instanteously screening out or amplifying existing light, granting him normal vision in both blinding light and considerable darkness.

The synthoids greatest physical susceptability is energy, which he is only somewhat more resistent to than a normal human; though even here with his raw physical strength and hardiness the snythoid could shrug off a jolt or two from a lightning strike or contact with high tension wires.

As previously mentioned, Morningstar is capable of absorbing vast amounts of solar energy. This stored solar energy can be put to a variety of uses ranging from life support (eg. nourishment, oxygen) to the amplification of his regenerative powers, his strength level, and his powers of light manipulation. This power is however subject to various environmental conditions; most noteably Earth's atmosphere and magnetic field, which screen out vast amounts of solar radiation and thus allow Morningstar only limited access to his full potential.

The synthoid is also capable of both generating and manipulating light. He can use this to shape a variety of objects (eg. forcefields, weapons, ladders, etc.) out of "solid light", emit dazzling bursts of light capable of stunning opponents, and fire focused burts of photons capable of punching through titanium... and even secondary adamantium if fed with enough solar energy.

Beyond this sizeable array of powers, the Morningstar synthoid also has the ability to fly, and is capable of reaching speeds of up to 300 mph.

    History
The Morningstar synthoid is the second in GenTech's line of super-synthoids; super-powered genetically engineered humanoid lifeforms raised in various energy wombs, which grow to adult proportions within a year and a half of their being released from their "womb".

Morningstar emerged from his womb at GenTech Research and Developement Facility just outside of Yellowknife, NWT, roughly two years ago. However, most of that time was been spent in the confines of GenTech. Only recently has he reached full growth and begun to undertake the "Advanced Socialization" program. Overseeing his developement (as the frontman for an entire team of GenTech psychologists and sociologists), is Dr. Jessica Banks.

Like the Thunder synthoid (see Thunder's Campaign Journal ), Morningstar has been conditioned according to ethical guidelines, and with very strong instincts toward compassion for the human species. While no where near as "spacey/thick" as Thunder, Morningstar nevertheless has an open, quiestioning, and somewhat niave disposition.
