Were it ever explained how 616 Kyle got into this book, and why he's wearing an Age of Apocalypse costume?

They haven’t explained why he is wearing the AoA costume, but it is our 616 Wild Child

As a no-prize attempt: after the AoA WC was killed in Uncanny X-Force his uniform was kept and displayed (I forget the issue) so when Kyle was resurrected into a feral state, this uniform fitted his beastial body, and was able to attach the chain.
