More signs that Disney’s acquisition talks with 21st Century Fox are picking up steam: Both companies have set teams of bankers on the case to work out the fine print.
Disney is working with a group that includes JP Morgan and Guggenheim Partners. Both entities have long relationships with Disney.
Fox has Goldman Sachs and Centerview Partners crunching its numbers.

Thursday... and it's Tuesday with you guys, right?

This whole thing could lead to an MCU Alpha Flight movie. That's all I want.

X-Men (Alpha Flight) & FF return to Marvel!

    I am so happy!

I can't wait to see Alpha Flight on the big screen and Marvel can stop trying to make the Inhumans like the X-Men.

It isn't necessarily a good thing.
We'll have to see how it goes.

    W
e now have confirmation from the head of Disney himself, CEO Bob Iger, that Deadpool can remain R-rated at Disney. In fact, if Iger's comments are any indication, this acquisition and, more specifically, gaining Deadpool indicate a willingness by Disney to branch out into the R-rated film business.

At last! A good Fantastic Four movie.

    That's got to happen.
    Thanks for keeping watch, Sas17.

(Also, possibly an Alpha Flight movie, but that's not as inevitable as a Fantastic Four movie.)

From here, anything is possible. I keep reminding myself that Guardians Of The Galaxy got a movie (and a thumpin' good'un, too!)

Then again, it's possible we'll get a bad Alpha Flight movie. Or worse, a great movie that's called Alpha Flight, but... isn't.
Still, I'm holding out hope. I'm certainly glad we're now unlikely to get a Fox Alpha Flight movie. I'm one of the few hold-outs who still likes the X-Men movies, but I don't think their style is suited to Alpha Flight.
