Back in May Old Man Logan and Extraordinary X-Men writer Jeff Lemire, teased an Alpha Flight appearance in one of his books on Twitter when he posted the following image:
Now at the time it was unclear if the images were connected, which book they would appear in or when they would appear.
January's Solicitations gave the following Solicitation for Old Man Logan #16, which seemed to account for the Brood element:
OLD MAN LOGAN #16
JEFF LEMIRE (W) • ANDREA SORRENTINO (A/C)
IN SPACE, NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU SNIKT!
• After a disastrous rescue mission, LOGAN is trapped in the cold void of space, hunted by the BROOD! But…wait…Logan is also BACK IN THE WASTELANDS? How can this be?

Today's Solicitations for February mentioned Alpha Flight in the #18 Solicitation so AlphaFlight.net reached out to Lemire to find out more:
So that looks like a three issue arc choc-full of Alpha in space action!
Given that three of the team are currently out in space the connection makes sense.
However, could the use of Volume 1 #40 mean that the Plodex are involved?
The Solicitation also seems to imply a split story, possibly between OML's 'future' memories in the Wastelands? Could this mean we may see how the alternate future Alpha Flight died?
Again, this could tie-in with a previous non-answer teaser we had from Lemire.
Either way, it's good to see Alpha Flight getting more page time, especially in a book that could have some spotlight with the Logan film on the way.
