• Northstar To Appear In Secret Wars?

    Bleeding Cool have an early look at Marvel's main Free Comic Book Day offering for 2015; Secret Wars#0 by Jonathan Hickman & Paul Renaud.

    The last double page spread in it reveals features a cast of the heroes flying into battle and Northstar is included with them, so we know that he definitely appears in the free #0.

    It's presumed that this will lead straight into #1 so there's a chance he'll appear in that and possibly the rest of the main series.



    This does however open up the fact that there will be a staggering amount of variants to collect for #1; many store-exclusives.

    FCBD is on May 2nd.

    UPDATE: The scene was more figurative than literal and the scene doesn't lead directly into #1, so no Northstar there unfortunately.

      OTOH, we don't have to buy every variant cover...

      Hope I get to a comic shop on FCBD. I'll be in Melbourne, though, so it's hard to say. (Yes, I know there are comic shops there!)

      That's the only panel we see of northstar in the book as the story ends there. Very likely won't be the last we see of him, though I assume would be mostly background cameos

      I was hoping to see the entire team and a few alternate versions of the team too! Oh well, maybe they are saving the best for later on in the series.

      I have a feeling we are going to see plenty of Alpha Flight! For instance, Puck appears in Howard the Duck #3 which came out today. Well, cosplay Puck, but close enough.

      I've still got some hope that we'll be seeing a Northstar title at some point post Secret Wars, but I don't think we'll be seeing Vol.5 anytime soon.
