• Northstar & Aurora Marvel Universe Figures Shown At SDCC *UPDATE*

Marvelous News have published some photos taken from SDCC 2013 of the newest announced Marvel Universe figure range that include Northstar & Aurora:

The price on the display card indicate that they will be released seperately rather than a two pack, but this isn't confirmed yet.
Either way they mark the third/fourth Alphans in the line after Puck & Guardian.

    With thanks to Marvelous News.

    *UPDATE*

The packing shot seems to imply that the two figures are interchangeable in one packaging:

Mike Deodato has published the full artwork for the packaging on his tumblr:

      Northstar is fiiiiiiinally out.
Not keen on the generic packaging though.
Glad the Aurora one had artwork for both.

I shall also use this as an opportunity to post my near-complete figure collection:
      Attachment 4968
Just missing the 20th Anniversary Snowbird/Puck and the NYCC Minimates2 pack.

      And while I'm at it:
      Attachment 4969
Missing looooooooads of the busts, and two of the Heroclix: Invincible Iron Man wave Sasquatch(Exiles) and Shaman.

Were you collecting mostly only one of the Diamond or Bowen busts?
Are the full statues unofficial ones?

I have all the mini-mates, but none of the Heroclix. I have the 20th anniversary ones (though I don't think I've heard them called that before!), but not either of the Wizard Guardians, or the Aurora MU one. That last is the one that's really been bugging me. I've been keeping an eye out for it for over a year now. That and an Azog, but that's going for collectors prices now. (And has nothing to do with AF, it's just the only other action figure I'm after.)

I'll have to start looking for N'star now.

Where did you buy the Northstar figure at? I've been everywhere but no one is selling it

It was at the UK-wing of Walmart, but I've seen a few on e-Bay too.

Can't find it either yet. LCS says distributor isn't carrying it at the moment. I'll keep looking. It will turn up.

I bought one on eBay but need to get another one to take out of the package for a little project I'm working on.

I got two Northstars on Evilbay for 13.85 each a short time ago. I agree with Phil, the packaging is lame...I wished that they used the same as Aurora's. It's a pretty good figure, but his head is very large (as was Aurora's head).

Amazon emailed me to let me know they had them available too.
It's not a good time for me to get one, but at least I know I can.

      Awesome!

I've just checked every comic shop in Sydney except one (which I found out about too late), and still didn't find them offline.

Will probably have to order them.

I got both of mine on eBay. Have yet to see one in a store

Yeah, I'll probably have to go the eBay route, too.
I saw them paired up for 60AUD a couple of weeks ago, but that was just before I left for the coast / Sydney, and couldn't be spending that money.

Yesterday, in the print room at work, I noticed a letter written to somebody named John Byrne. True story.

Just realised I didn't answer this; I'm collecting them all in theory, but they're a fair bit harder to get over here due to the weight/shipping costs associated.
I've got most of the ones I have on trips to the States.

The full statues are the Eaglemoss ones: http://alphaflight.net/content.php?6...Cover-Revealed

Yeah, they're not easy here either.
I've managed to get all the Diamond and Bowen ones, but not one of the Eaglemoss (they'd cost me about $60 each over eBay.)

Today, I met up with a friend who's been journeying through Asia.
He brought me an Aurora! He didn't even know I'd been looking for it.
So, yay!, I've got that one.

... and two days later, in a comic shop in Sydney, I found my Northstar! They're both right next to me right now.
