Over the years this site and it's various incarnations before it has been home to some of the biggest and most vocal Alpha Flight fans on the internet, and each time we've had a series cancelled from under us you've done us proud and joined the varying Fight For The Flight campaigns and sent Marvel letters and e-mails stating how much you wanted a decent Alpha Flight title.
That's right Flight fans; fresh from their return in Chaos War and spinning out of the events of Fear Itself today Marvel announced an 8 issue series (plus a 0.1 issue in May) from the Chaos War & Incredible Hercules writing team of Greg Pak & Fred Van Lente!
On art duties for the 0.1 issue is Ben Oliver, with Dale Eaglesham, Drew Hennessy and Morry Hollowell for the 8 issue series, along with covers by Phil Jimenez!
October sees Marvel's 'Chaos War' where Hercules creates an all new God-Squad to face the forces of the Chaos King.
Alpha Flight fans were saddened when Snowbird appeared to not be included in the squad despite her being an integral part of the last one (during the Incredible Hercules: Sacred Invasion storyline), but now we know why!
Spinning out of the events of November's Chaos War #3 comes the 'Chaos War:Alpha Flight' One Shot by Jim McCann and Reilly Brown.
